Dashboard UI Guide
The SIGNAL terminal at /terminal is a real-time financial news dashboard.
Layout
- Header: Logo, live clock, connection status, aggregate statistics, user menu
- Sidebar: Search, date range filter, sentiment filter, source filter, refresh interval
- Main Feed: Scrollable table of news items with time, sentiment, source, headline, and summary
- Status Bar: Last refresh time, items/second rate
Keyboard Shortcuts

Filtering
All filters combine — you can search for "NVIDIA" + bullish sentiment + CNBC source simultaneously.
Auto-Refresh
The feed auto-refreshes at the interval you select (3s to 60s). New items appear at the top with a green flash animation.
Sound Alerts
Toggle the Sound button to hear a notification when new items arrive. Useful for passive monitoring.
